Leave of 3 ...stay away

Ashley returned in 1 piece along with a rash. That pesky plant found a new victum. Ashley got a rash when she watched my dogs last year and it lingered around for a few weeks. This time its made quite a patch of redness on her right arm and a few spots of Poison Oak it looks like on her legs. She's going to the Dr on Monday and hopefully some Prednisone will help it out.

Ashley on the Youth Trip

Ashley is leaving today for a week with the youth at Christmount in Black Mountain, NC. We are praying for a safe and rewarding trip.

Jam on it

It's easy to try new things like making jam when our supplies are just across from our subdivision. We went back to Smith's Nursery where we made many strawberry trips this spring to pick blueberries. We each got a standard 1 gallon pail and set off to the rows of berries. It took a little less than an hour and we filled up our buckets- about 6 pounds.

July 4th

We spent the 4th with the Hasick family & the gang at Island Creek. Lots of fun & great food!

bathroom redo

We decided our guest bathroom needed an update, and Ashley took the initiative and went to Home Depot. She came home last Wednesday with paint in hand and upgrades to our bathroom fixtures. She's spent the last few days preparing the room and giving it a fresh coat of paint.
