Happy Abby!! .......updated w/ sound now!!!

"Babeeee" has a name- Happy Abby!! Olivia learned to say Abby a while back-she loved to stand at the bottom the the Hamm's steps & call for Abby. The day they headed for Florida Olivia was riding in her carseat babbling away to herself saying "Abby" over & over & over & over! & since then she loves to walk around calling Abby. Along the way she added in "happy" & would walk around babbling "happy, happy, Abby..." At the beach she was on a roll carrying around baby & everyone thought it was so funny. So, we decided baby was officially "Happy Abby". Wish we could get a clip of her saying it, but once the camera comes out she is all smiles & stops. She LOVES Happy Abby for sure. Abby got a new swing today & a baby bottle with disappearing milk- oh the fun! She is ALL girl!



Side note to the real Abby- Olivia loves you & misses you! We think she gave her 1st baby the best name! She added in the happy all on her own, but what better word to describe you! She'll be trying to feed baby Happy Abby Cheerwine if we don't watch out! We miss you!

We had a great week at the beach! What could be better than 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 3 cousins, & a granny all in 1 condo to entertain Olivia all day?! You think she got just a little bit spoiled?! We attempted a new pic of the grandkids.....not too smart to wait till the last day they were all together right at nap time!! Oh the fun!! The boys did great & didn't even fuss, it was that sweet baby girl who wasn't too excited about picture time!

Marbles is SO Much Fun!

We had a great time at Marbles today! SO much to do! The grocery store/kitchen was by far Olivia's favorite & she played in there forever. The splash park was a close 2nd & if we hadn't moved the kids on they would have been soaking wet by the time we were done! SO much to do there & SO much fun! Can't wait to go back again soon. We tried to get a group pick of all 4 kids...yeah- we tried! Too much going on & too much to do to get them to all sit down together that long!

She picked the orange out of the basket- "BALL!!!" & tossed it into the scales- swish! What a mess! She pushed the cart around & around filling it with fruit & veggies- off to the kitchen to to cook & then filled up the cart all over again. She is such a girl & SO much fun to watch! I have the BEST job in the whole world & LOVE every minute of it!

Uncle Tyler was in Raleigh Friday morning for a meeting & of course he had to have lunch w/ Olivia on his way home. He sent the email above to her dad wondering what happened to her knee! She fell in our friend's driveway Wednesday night. Nothing major, didn't even shed a tear. Christy tried to put a Sponge Bob bandaid on it & she wanted nothing to do w/ that! Guess the love for bandaids will come w/ age! It is actually worse than that now. She fell on it again Friday night playing in our driveway & re-opened it. Shed some tears that time, but it is on the mend.

We are blessed! Our small group started 2 weeks before Olivia was born & they welcomed us from the 1st night. We all quickly became like family & they all love to spoil Olivia each Sunday night! Over the last year & a half we've REALLY grown! We aren't so small anymore!! We have LOTS of fun though! Our group has been blessed to be led by Phillip each week. We're also very thankful for Christy who has adopted Olivia & loves to entertain her (& feed her!) during our Bible study. Olivia even had her very own basket of toys under their coffee table! We are excited as the Hamm's have just moved to Florida. We know God has lots in store for them, but they will be GREATLY missed. FBC Palmetto is getting a great pastor & family! We aren't saying 'good bye' though.....just 'see you soon!' We're looking forward to visiting on our next trip to FL to visit Grandma! They have truly blessed our family in so many ways & we are thankful to have been part of their lives. God is good!

One Happy Girl!

This is one HAPPY girl! In the last few weeks Olivia has really taken to her dolls. "Babeeeeee" is very high on the list these days! Uncle Tyler brought her a little straw bag/purse from the Bahamas & that holds a baby at all times now. There is a baby downstairs, 1 in the playroom, 1 in the car, & 1 in her bed & she loves them all! This is by far her favorite though! She lights up when she sees "babeeeee!" She loves on her, kisses her, rocks her, even tries to feed her! All the other babies are little stuffed dolls, but this is her 1st real doll- she got her last Easter. Tonight mommy brought home a stroller for baby & you would have thought it was Christmas she was SO excited! She pushed baby around until bedtime! She is 100% girl for sure! She may look like her daddy, but seems she has a love for baby dolls like her mommy did!

Fun in the Sun

Olivia & I headed to the beach with Granny for a few days this week. She LOVES the water! She had lots of fun in the waves, digging in the sand, chasing 'biiiiiirds', & playing in the pool. She can't wait for beach week so she can soak up some more sun.
