My dear sweet husband was scanning the credit card bill today & he got a little upset & confused with the purchases at "Lowes". He interupted my shower to ask how we (meaning me) spent a good amount of $ at Lowes Food 4 days in a row. I was very confused. 1 of the totals would have been a big grocery trip, but I only do those every 2-3 weeks, so 4 days in a row made no sense, we could never eat that much food at 1 time.
I pulled up the calendar on the computer & thought really hard as to what I could have bought to make these charges. He said they were at 2 different Lowes...1 purchase at Lowes on Timber, & 3 at the Lowes at 42/50. I thought & thought....& those of you who really know Seth can only imagine what he was thinking & how nervous he was at this time! It just made no sense... I was trying to figure out what we even did that weekend to have gone to the grocery store 4 days in a row- how much could you forget to have to keep going back???!
Then I figured out that was the weekend Seth built the swing set & it hit me, that Saturday I didn't go anywhere at all- I had the kids in the house all day while they worked outside & then Sarah & Rachel came over for dinner. I didn't leave at all that day so how could this be?
The light came on....the 3 trips to Lowes at 42/50 wheren't the grocery store at all....Lowes home improvement! I looked at the print out carefully "Lowes Foods #227 Raleigh NC on 10/23" the other 3 said "Lowes #00677 Garner NC on 10/20, 21, & 22".......SETH you bought WOOD for a swing set!! & he thought I had totally blown the grocery budget or was about to blame Lowes food for credit card fraud! Oh Seth, I do love you & you do make me laugh!!!
